Dr. Powell is a Pankey Scholar and is in the process of becoming a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He continues to grow in non-surgical root canal therapy and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Powell is an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Georgia Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.

Life & Hobbies
Dr. Powell has two dogs named Jet and Bravo. He enjoys reading, traveling, and doing community service in the Athens and Gainesville area outside of work. He also loves sports, particularly football.
